The Chinese all-cargo carrier Jade Cargo International adds three weekly Frankfurt frequencies to its network of European destinations. Jade Cargo International's fourth B747-400ERF is due for delivery at the end of May 2007 and put into service shortly afterwards. The ex-factory B747-400 extended range freighter will be delivered by Boeing in Seattle to the owner Jade Cargo International.
The new aircraft will operate a two-way non-stop service from Shenzhen to Frankfurt. In addition, Jade Cargo International will enter the transpacific market to the United States by a two weekly charter service to Houston, TX (USA) via Vancouver (Canada) once Jade Cargo International has received all governmental approvals.
With the delivery of an additional Boeing 747-400ER freighter, Jade Cargo International will in future connect Europe's biggest airport with the burgeoning Shenzhen airport - at the heart of the major industrial centre in Asia. Jade Cargo International and Lufthansa Cargo will be sharing the total per-flight capacity of around 100 tonnes.
Jade Cargo International's fifth aircraft, a Boeing 747-400ERF, will be due for delivery in August 2007. Jade Cargo International has ordered a total of six aircraft of this type, the last aircraft is to be delivered in January 2008. The Jade Cargo International fleet is based at Baoan International Airport, Shenzhen in Southern China.
