
Harbin Aircraft Industrial Group's Model of new Y12F aircraft is displayed at Paris Air Show 2007 for the first time.
Aviation Industry Corporation Group II (AVIC II) has exhibited the Y12F Model Aircraft, which is a new kind of Low-cost and middle and short-haul aircraft designed by Harbin Aircraft Industrial Group.
It is said that Y12 is designed under the technology of Yun-12 series aircrafts, and reformed to be a middle and short haul aircraft.
Y12 is designed using high wing, lower horizontal tail, single vertical tail, without cabin pressurization, and retractable landing gear layout. The length of this aircraft is 16.47 meters and height is 5.92 meters, with 19.88 meters' wingspan. The constructive material of he body is high strength aluminum alloy, and the compound materials take up 7-10% of the total materials. The engine is PT6A-65B turbo engine manufactured by Hewlett-Packard Company in Canada.
Now, this aircraft is in the development stage, and planned to fly next year. |
