A harvest of orders for Airbus

At the end of the first three days of the show, Airbus had issued more than 20 announcements bringing the grand total of orders for the first part of the week to 548 orders and commitments representing a global value of 75.7 billion US dollars at catalogue prices.

These announcements include 358 firm orders and 190 Memorandum of Understanding, which confirm the growing success of the newest models of the Airbus Family such as the A350 XWB with more than 170 orders and commitments and the latest freighter model, the A330-200F with over 40 announcements.

Three major airlines have also announced 13 A380 additional orders while the widebody family has gathered more than 50 orders and commitments.

And the best seller of all times, the A320 Family reached a peak of more than 260 announced orders during these first three days.
