AvBuyer.com.cn/en: Could you introduce some ideas and concepts of Guangdong Changsheng Aircraft Design Co., Ltd. (referred as "Changsheng") when designing the aircraft?

Zhou Jisheng: Thanks for your interview. Changsheng is a private company, which is established in 2006. We have exhibited the design plans of two series large jet aircrafts. One of them is CS 2000. CS is not only the first capitals of Changsheng, but also the China Star in English. CS 2000 is 200-300 seats’ dual aisle large aircraft. The other plan is CS 2010, which is a 150-200 seats’ single aisle aircraft.

Why we do these two projects? According to the decision of State Council on February 26th, 2007, the registration of large aircrafts should be operated with joint venture form. The joint venture company will charge the research, manufacture and sales of the large aircraft.

At the same time, China encourages social capital and private capital. As a private enterprise, Changsheng is established to join national large aircraft project, including investment, technical support, and enjoying some core research.

Changsheng has put forward two plans: one is for the market with some uncertainness. The other is to ask for the public opinions and advisement. We have already completed the first overall concept of these two series projects. The first overall concept is an overall design plan.

At the same time, we have another feature that we take the lead in putting the virtual technology into aircraft design. As we all know, the aircraft manufacturers always want to show the features of the aircraft to the public. Therefore, we want to use the latest technology that is the virtual technology into the design of the aircraft. It is not just a kind of exhibition; it is also a kind of innovation of our design.
Our team has a lot of experience on the civil aircraft design, from Yun-10 aircraft to ARJ21 aircraft. I believe our team is very powerful and strong.
