Days ago, the Air China Gala Events 2007 was held in Frankfurt and Paris respectively. The Marketing Department of Air China together with the European Head Office, the Frankfurt Office and Paris Office had successfully organized the event. Over 300 guests from Chinese Embassy, Star Alliance GmbH, the tourist bureau and trade industry including key accounts of Air China, sales agents, travel agencies, partner company staff and local media friends, etc. have participate the event. Mdm. Zhang Chunzhi, the Secretary of Olympic Working Committee of Air China and the Managing Director of Marketing Department delivered a speech on behalf of Air China. When introducing Air China's brand, product and service, she said, "Air China has been focusing on European market as the European economy has maintained the growth momentum and the economic and trade exchanges between China and Europe has been deepened with the diplomatic relationship been well developed. Besides, the favorable visa policy in Shengen States of Europe has also provided great opportunities and drive for the development of Sino-European air transport market."
As the only airline partner of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Air China has been enhancing its service capabilities in an all rounded manner. In order to better serve the passengers on long and media haul routes, Air China has launched the brand new Forbidden Pavilion First Class and the Capital Pavilion Business Class featuring the lying-flat seat and superior services. The newly upgraded aircraft have been deployed in Beijing/Shanghai-Frankfurt route as well as Sino-French route operated by Air China starting from October 28th. As an another endeavor to deliver the convenient services to European customers, the Air China European Call Center Hotline +800-86-100-999 has been launched and a brand new European website of Air China featuring E-Services functionalities will also be initiated soon. To serve the need of Beijing Olympic Games, Air China is also going all out for the use of the largest terminal building in the world- T3 of Beijing Capital Airport early next year. By the end of the year, Air China will formally join the largest airline alliance around the globe- Star Alliance, which will enable Air China to bring more benefits and seamless services to frequent travelers of Star Alliance.
As the sole flag carrier of China, Air China is committed to becoming the ambassador of communicating the Chinese culture while bridging China with the world. During the event, the flight attendants of Air China has also performed classical Chinese dances, folk music and Chinese drama, etc., enabling the audience to experience the brilliance of traditional Chinese culture.
