With the support and assistance of Central South ATMB and Guangxi ATM sub-bureau, civil aviation ATC informatization working conference was held in Nanning on November 14. Lv Xiaoping，Deputy Director General of CAAC/ATMB, the relative leaders who are responsible for informatization work from regional ATMB and members of ATC informatization group, as well as the representatives from subordinate units attended this conference. The conference was presided over by Qi Ming, Director of Information Office of CAAC/ATMB.

The conference reviewed and summed up a year of development situation for ATC informatization, carried out an in-depth discussion on the existing problems, studied the second phase of informatization project and work out the plans for the next step. The representatives introduced their progress of informatization construction and the work plans, summarized the experiences and put forward some constructive comments and suggestions. The conference also invited Dr. Jiang Changqing, Deputy Director of China Information Technology Security Certification Center, who made a wonderful speech on information technology security.

Deputy Director General Lv Xiaoping also delivered an important speech. She fully affirmed a year of achievements of ATC informatization, pointed out the existing problems, and made important instructions on the aspects of information management operating mechanism construction, the ATC information resources integration, the information security system construction, the standards and regulations improvement and the training of technical personnel etc.

The success of this meeting was of great significance to accelerate the process of ATC informatization construction.
