Terminal 1 with a floor area of 70,000 sq m begins operation.

After four years' construction, Terminal 2 opens to handle the increasing passenger flow. Terminal 1 stops operation.
Apr 2, 2004
As the major part of the airport expansion project, Terminal 3 construction starts.
Sept 20, 2004
Terminal 1 resumes operation.
Feb 29, 2008
Terminal 3 will open. The capital airport will be able to handle 76 million passengers a year, or 208,000 passengers a day. About 1,590 flights will land at and take off from the airport every day.
