Shanghai Airlines will operate two flights between Shanghai and Taipei for the Qingming Festival.

Flight FM801/802 will depart Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 11:05am on April 3 and arrive in Taipei at 1:50pm, returning to Shanghai at 2:50pm the same day.

The other flight FM801/802 will depart Shanghai at 1:45pm on April 6 and land in Taipei at 4:30pm, then return to Pudong at 5:30pm.

Taiwan residents and their relatives who hold lawful credentials can take the charter flights across the Taiwan Strait.

Shanghai Airlines will also provide ground services for three Taiwan airline companies, EVA Air, TransAsia Airways and Far Easten Air Transport at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

During the Qingming Festival, Chinese people honor their ancestors by sweeping their tombstones. April 4 will be a holiday this year.
