China Southern Airlines, the newest member of SkyTeam and the largest airline in The People's Republic of China has earned the prestigious 2007 Customer Satisfaction Award by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC).
At the 2007 Customer Evaluation Results Conference sponsored by the CAAC, China Southern Airlines was honored the "2007 Customer Satisfaction Award" – the most prestigious quality service award in the Chinese aviation industry.
This is the second time for China Southern to be named since 1998.
China Southern Airlines operates a fleet of 342 Airbus and Boeing jet aircraft and is the largest carrier in The People's Republic of China in terms of fleet, extensive air network and annual passenger traffic. In 2007, China Southern Airlines transported nearly 57 million passengers, ranked #9 worldwide and the only Chinese carrier to enter into the world Top 10 passenger airlines.
