News from Tianjin is that the new terminal building of Tianjin Binhai International Airport will be officially operative as of April 28th. Currently, it is under the final trial operation.

Located to the east side of the runway, the new terminal covers an area of about twenty-nine acres and has sixty ticket counters and seventeen safety-check channels. From April 28th, many domestic and oversea airlines, such as Air China, Southern Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Japan Airlines and Korean Air will gradually transfer to the brand-new building.
