Cathay Pacific Airways announced that it will move its operations to the new Terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport with effect from 29-Apr-08. The carrier's daily flight between Hong Kong and Shanghai will arrive into and depart from the new facility.
A highlight for Cathay Pacific passengers will be the opening of a new lounge in Terminal 2, shared with Dragonair.
At 970 sqm, the Dragonair and Cathay Pacific Lounge will be the largest in either airline's network outside Hong Kong. It will be open to passengers travelling in First or Business Class on Cathay Pacific and Dragonair as well as Silver-status or above members of the Marco Polo Club. Key features include two food and drink venues offering Western and Chinese dishes, wireless Internet access, workstations, large flat-screen TVs and specially trained lounge staff.
