Grand China Air brings Olympic torchbearers to Sanya

Grand China Air's plane CN7179 carrying the Olympic Torchbearers Jin Jing and Chen Danqing landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport from Beijing on May 1st, 2008. Jin Jing and Chen Danqing will run with the torch in Sanya relay which is the first relay within mainland China.
The Olympic torch Sanya relay will kick off in the Fire Phoenix Square of Phoenix Island on May 4 . A total of 208 torchbearers will run through the 30.09 kilometers route that will end at the scenic spot of Tianya Haijiao, passing the Crown of Beauty Center, Haiyue Square of Sanya Gulf and Haihong Square.
After Sanya, the Olympic Flame will head to Wuzhishan, another city of Hainan Province.
Since August 2003, all the units under CAAC have started preparing, in order to guarantee the safety, convenience and simplicity of the air transportation during Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Meanwhile, taking the opportunity of Olympic Games, China steps up building of a powerful civil aviation industry.
