HNA Sailboat convoyed Beijing Olympic flame from Sanya gulf

The Beijing Olympic torch relay in Sanya concluded at the senic spot of Tianya Haijiao on Sunday. The torch relay started from the Phoenix Island, passing the Crown of Beauty Center, Haiyue Square of Sanya Gulf and Haihong Square.
During the torch passing, Sanya Gulf HNA sailboat led another 6 sailboats sailed with the Olympic Flame. This was the first time using sailboat to convoy Olympic torch relay at sea. The relay included beach running, three-tandem cycling and Taiji performances, which highlighted Sanya's tropical seaside landscape and Chinese culture.
The sacred flame arrives in the capital city of Haikou today.
Since August 2003, all the units under CAAC have started preparing, in order to guarantee the safety, convenience and simplicity of the air transportation during Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Meanwhile, taking the opportunity of Olympic Games, China steps up building of a powerful civil aviation industry.
