On April 28, 2008, the inspection group of civil aviation Olympic information security inspected CAAC/ATMB.

The inspection group heard the report about the network and information security work during the Olympic Games, and checked the ATM data network, the meteorological system and contingency plans for major information systems etc.

The inspection group fully affirmed the supporting work of network and information security for the period of Olympic Games. They said that, CAAC/ATMB attaches great importance to the information security and has a complete emergency plans, that ensure the flight safety. Meanwhile, they put forward some guiding opinions and recommendations. The group also pointed out that, we should place much emphasis on the role of information system in the safe production, carry out risk assessment for the major information systems and develop the remedial measures, in order to ensure ATC network and information security during the Olympic Games.
 
The inspection work strengthens the prevention consciousness of information security of civil aviation ATC system and lays a good foundation for our remedial work in the coming days.
