The German Red Cross said on Sunday it will deliver a mobile hospital in the middle of next week to Sichuan.
The hospital can accommodate up to 120 patients and provide medical care for up to 250,000 people, the German Red Cross said in a statement, adding the project is supported by the German Foreign Ministry.
The hospital, which will be transported to China in two cargo planes, can go into operation within 24 hours, it said.
A team of doctors, nurses, hospital managers and technicians will also travel to China to temporarily support local medical care in the worst-hit areas, the statement said.
