Menzies Aviation is delighted to announce the award of the Great Wall Airlines contract for full cargo handling at Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
Great Wall Airlines operates from its hub at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport, offering dedicated freighter services, connecting China to the major cargo markets of the world.
Flights into Seattle will commence on the 1st June 2008 and will operate 3 times a week using B747-400 freighters with a routing of Shanghai – Seoul – Seattle – Chicago and vice versa.
John Redmond, Menzies Aviation's SVP Americas, said: "I am delighted to have been chosen by Great Wall Airlines to handle their service at Seattle Tacoma International. Tan Kai Ping, President of Great Wall Airlines, said: "Our focus for the rest of the year will be on growing our network to USA. We intend to introduce more frequencies and more destinations in the coming months."
