Nearly 3,000 wheelchairs will be made available at 15 Olympic venue cities and their airports before the end of the month, authorities have said.
The State Grid Corporation donated the chairs to the China Disabled Persons' Federation on Friday in Beijing.
The federation's Bo Shaoye said Beijing Capital International Airport is ready to handle the 4,000-5,000 arrivals for the Paralympic Games in September.
