AirMedia announces hiring of two key sales personnel

AirMedia Group Inc., the operator of the largest digital media network in China dedicated to air travel advertising, today announced that it has recently reinforced its sales team through the addition of two experienced sales personnel, who joined AirMedia from key positions in the industry.  These two additions have further strengthened AirMedia's already robust sales force.

Mr. Aaron Tsoi was appointed as Vice President of Sales and will lead the sales team focused on second- and third-tier airports, an area of significant potential for AirMedia's continued growth.  Mr. Tsoi has more than 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and management, including 13 years at several international advertising companies which are members of American Association of Advertising Agencies.  Prior to joining AirMedia, Mr. Tsoi served as a Regional Managing Partner of North Asia at MindShare Beijing, which is a leading global media network and part of the WPP Group.

Ms. Lisa Sze was appointed as the General Manager of Beijing Digital Frames Department of AirMedia, where she will lead and manage all of the sales efforts for the AirMedia's digital frame business in the North China region. Ms. Sze has more than 12 years of experience in sales, advertising and marketing, including more than 5 years of experience at an out-of-home advertising agency and an out-of-home advertising company.  Prior to joining AirMedia, Ms. Sze served as the General Manager of Beijing Asiaray Advertising Co. Ltd., an out-of-home advertising company with operation in approximately 30 airports in China.

About Aaron Tsoi

Prior to joining AirMedia, Mr. Tsoi served as a Regional Managing Partner of North Asia at MindShare Beijing, a leading global media network of the WPP Group.  At that position he oversaw the accounts for the North Asia markets, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Japan starting in 2006. Before that, from March 2001 to May 2006, he served as the General Manager of MediaCom China, Grey Group, one of the world's largest media agency networks,where he was in charge of the overall operation of Beijing and Shanghai office. From December 1999 to February 2001, Mr. Tsoi served as the General Manager of Wisers Information Ltd., which is a spin -off I.T. start-up company from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.  From August 1995 to November 1999, Mr. Tsoi worked for MediaCom China, taking various media roles, and was promoted as Media Director in 1997.  Before MediaCom China, Mr. Tsoi worked for Leo Burnett Ltd. as a Media Planner from June 1993 to July 1995. Mr. Tsoi holds a bachelor degree of Social Sciences in Economics from University of Hong Kong.

About Lisa Sze

Prior to joining AirMedia, Ms. Sze served as the General Manager and the Deputy General Manager of Beijing Asiaray Advertising Co. Ltd., an out-of-home advertising company with operation in approximately 30 airports in China, from February 2006.  While there she led the sales teams of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingao and Xi'an.  Before that, from January 2003 to November 2005, Ms. Sze served as a Planning Director of Shanghai Posterscope Advertising Co. Ltd, a World's leading out-of-home communications agency, where she was in charge of the sales teams in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. From October 1999 to May 2002, Ms. Sze served as a Senior Marketing Executive of Standard (Chan's) Corp. Ltd.  Ms. Sze holds a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Hong Kong, SPACE.
