China Southern Airlines will increase fuel surcharges on most international routes, from July 10, to assist in offsetting the continuing surge in aircraft fuel prices.
Between China and Australia, Africa, the US, Europe and Middle East the new one-way fuel surcharge will be 1100 Chinese Yuan – or about US$160.
This level will fluctuate according to exchange rates.
A one-way fuel surcharge of about US$80 will apply on routes within the South Asia Subcontinent and between China and South Asia, East Asia and Korea, while a one-way fuel surcharge of about US$40 will apply between Guangzhou and Bangkok.
