Guangzhou Baiyun Airport's 2nd terminal development passes hurdle

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, located in Guangdong Province, announced in early Jul-08 that its second terminal project has received approval from Guangdong Development & Reform Commission and is now subject to National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) approval.
The second terminal is expected to have capacity for 40 million passengers p/a, bringing total airport capacity to 90 million passengers p/a.
