Jinfeng Team Becomes Beijing's 1st Cheerleading Team for the Paralympic Games
The Jinfeng Cheerleading Team, which is made up of Air China flight attendants, is ready to cheer for the Paralympic Games. Named after Air China's model air crew "Jinfeng", this cheerleading team started training on July 18, 2008, which is the 50 day countdown to the opening of the Paralympic Games. The cheerleading team will be the first to participate in the Beijing Paralympic Games.
The Jinfeng Cheerleading Team is made up of 50 Olympic flight attendants who have been specially recruited by Air China to serve during the Beijing Olympic Games.Besides providing excellent service on the Olympic flights and showing professionalism for Air China, they also attend training and activities in their spare time. The Air China Cabin Service Department has invited professional cheerleading trainers to teach movements, chants, and other skills for the Jinfeng Cheerleading team. Air China has also organized training for the team in service skills for disabled passengers.
The creation of the Jinfeng Cheerleading Team is part of a series of activities "dedicated to bringing outstanding Air China service to both the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games." Through reports, lectures, practices and direct cheering for the disabled athletes at the scene, the flight attendants will be fully equipped to offer the best service to disabled passengers. With its understanding, concern and respect for Paralympic athletes from all countries, Air China is dedicated to providing them with a pleasant and enjoyable air travel experience.
