June 13, Ameco Beijing and Lufthansa Technik Logistik (LTL) signed a two-year worldwide logistic services agreement. Effective July 1st, LTL will commence its comprehensive logistic support for Ameco Beijing. This will further enhance Ameco Beijing’s capabilities such as tracking & tracing, consolidation and a 24-hour Aircraft On Ground (AOG) service, etc.
Ameco Beijing and Lufthansa Technik Logistik of America (LTLA) already maintain a similar cooperation for four years, building up an efficient and reliable supply chain between America and China. In an attempt to further promote Ameco Beijing’s worldwide logistic services with shorter lead times and cost savings, Ameco Beijing chose LTL because of its strong logistic support capability and advanced logistic network. A series of sophisticated IT measures will be introduced such as EBAT and LTL's state-of-the-art real-time track & trace system. Ameco Beijing anticipates annual savings of at least 15% on transportation costs.
As a part of the Lufthansa Technik Group, LTL has rich experience in MRO aviation logistics and services more than 450 airlines and aircraft operators. Its total supply chain management system includes transportation, material sourcing, storage and distribution providing 24-hour AOG services.
