Sichuan Airlines E145 veered off runway on landing

A Sichuan Airlines Embraer ERJ-145, registration B-3045 performing flight 3U8771 from Chongqing to Nanning (China) with 40 passengers, veered off the runway while landing at Nanning at 19:40 local time (11:40Z) in heavy rain and gusting winds and came to a stop about 70 meters besides the runway. No injuries have been reported.
The airport had to be closed for about two hours, then takeoffs were permitted again. Traffic returned to normal the next morning, when the runway was available for departures and arrivals again.
