Beijing Capital International Airport Co Ltd, which operates the airport in China's capital city, said passenger traffic at the airport fell 4.6 pct year-on-year in July to 4.92 mln.

Cargo traffic rose 1.3 pct to 105,000 tons during the month, it said.

For the first seven months of the year, passenger numbers declined 0.4 pct to 30.98 mln, while cargo throughput increased 23.7 pct to 743,000 tons.
