Shenzhen Airlines strengthens flight networks in Chengdu

To enhance its flight networks in Chengdu, Shenzhen Airlines will add four new routes between Chengdu and Kunming, Guiyang, and Guangzhou, resepctively.

The company will launch one Airbus A320C aircraft at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and will open new round-trip routes from Chengdu to Kunming, Guiyang, and Guangzhou from August 28 through October 25.

Of these, a daily flight from Chengdu to Kunming starts at 7:50, and arrives at 8:50; the return flight departs at 9:40, arriving at 10:40. Another flight on the Chengdu-Kunming route will start from Chengdu at 21:05 everyday, and arrives at Kunming at 22:05; the return flight departs from Kunming at 22:50, arriving at Chengdu at 23:50.

The Chengdu-Guiyang flight will start from Chengdu at 12:00 everyday, and arrives at Guiyang at 13:00; the return flight departs from Guiyang at 14:00, arriving at Chengdu at 15:00. The Chengdu-Guangzhou flight will start from Chengdu at 15:20 everyday, and arrives at Guangzhou at 17:10; the return flight departs from Guangzhou at 18:00, arriving at Chengdu at 20:00.

Meanwhile, Shenzhen Airlines plans to build its base company in Chengdu by the end of 2008. Currently, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is building a second runway. Three domestic airlines including Air China, Sichuan Airlines and United Eagle Airlines established bases at the airport, and Shenzhen Airlines will be the fourth air company settled in the airport.
