Taiwan's EVA Airways names new president

EVA Airways Corp said its board has appointed James Jeng as the company's new president.
Jeng, currently vice-chairman of Italia Marittima SPA, will take his new post from September 1, according to a company filing with the stock exchange.
He will replace Chen Hsing-te.Chen, who will be appointed to another post, it said, without elaborating.
Italia Marittima is a member of the Evergreen Group, of which EVA Airways is a member.
EVA Airways shares today closed down 0.05 twd or 0.43 pct at 11.55.
