Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that its operation into and out of Hong Kong International Airport will be suspended from 21:00 tonight (Hong Kong time) through to 08:00 on 24- Sept) due to the passage of Typhoon Hagupit. Strong winds associated with the typhoon are expected to exceed operational safety limits during the above period.

The suspension of operations will lead to flights departing Hong Kong tonight being either cancelled or delayed. In addition, a number of inbound flights may have to be diverted to other airports in the region depending on the weather conditions in Hong Kong.
Passengers booked on the cancelled flights should call Cathay Pacific Reservations at 2747-1888 after 19:00 to rearrange their flight schedule.
The airline plans to operate the following delayed flights on Wednesday morning, subject to slot availability:
Passengers on the delayed flights are advised to first check the airline's website to get the latest update on the status of their flight after 19:00 tonight.
