Daily flights to US to take off

Conetinental Airlines will launch its first daily non-stop flight from Shanghai to New York on March 26 next year.
The flight will be operated by a Boeing777 jet which will depart from Shanghai at 3:45pm and return from New York at 11:20am. The US Department of Commerce estimated that 579,000 Chinese tourists would visit the United States in 2011, compared with 320,000 in 2007.
