Singapore Airlines has assured its customers they won't be consuming China-sourced milk products on board.
In a message on its website, the airline says that, as a result of health and safety concerns arising from dairy products from the People's Republic of China, the airline has taken steps to remove dairy products sourced from China from its flights.
It has instructed its caterers worldwide not to use dairy products from China in the preparation of meals.
"Singapore Airlines will use its best efforts to ensure dairy products served, or used in production of meals, are sourced from outside the People's Republic of China," the carrier said.
"We apologise if this means some choices are not available while we source for alternate supplies."
