Hainan Airlines Group, the fourth largest civil aviation operator in China, is going to make changes in its management team as well as those of its subsidiaries.
Li Xiaoming, a long-time executive of the group, will replace Zhu Yimin as the chairman of Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd, a flagship subsidiary of the group, and take the place of Chen Feng as the chairman of Grand China Air Co., Ltd., another major subsidiary of the group. Mr. Li is now the executive vice president of the group and chairman of the group’s hotel company and real estate holding company.
Chen Feng will remain chairman of the group and Zhu Yimin will be transferred to the post of executive vice president of the group.
Yang Jianhong, chief marketing officer of the listed company, will serve as vice president of the same company.
Details of the management team adjustment are not revealed until the group's board announces it.
The changes could be the reflection of Chen Feng's earlier proposal that the managing power should be transferred to young men, a person from the group said.
