On Sept.26, a cooperation agreement was reached in Dalian airport between Dalian Airport and Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. The both parties will develop wide cooperation in such fields as staff training, business operation, flight opening etc. in the spirit of exchange and cooperation so as to realize the purpose of mutually promoting, mutually cooperating, improving and double-win, largely push the job of building air one-day economic circle between Dalian and Haneda in Dalian Airport. It is the another successful transnational cooperation for Dalian Airport following establishment of friendly airport with U.S.A. Houston Airport Management & Operation Inc. in 1999 Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. mainly deals with passenger terminal construction, its management and operation, commercial business, sales of commodities within the terminal etc. which is the largest operator of tax-free goods in Japan, and the management and operation of Tokyo Haneda International Airport will constitute its basic business. Haneda International Airport seats the top with the output of passenger and cargo in Japan, top five in the world, and its modernization and management level, operation guarantee ability are the highlights to absorb Dalian Airport.

Dalian Airport is an important airport and one of foreign opening windows in the region of Northeast China. In recent years, its passenger output has increased largely and stably, especially the opening places and flights of Japan airlines are only next to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, standing the second in China.
