Air China announces that during the extraordinary general meeting held on October 9, its shareholders approved: the appointment of Wang Yinxiang as a non-executive director of the board of directors; the purchase of 20 Airbus 330-Series aircraft from the Airbus Company; and the purchase of 15 Boeing 777 and 30 Boeing 737 aircraft from Boeing Company.

The board has approved the appointment of Wang Yinxiang as the deputy chairman of the board.
