Over a quarter million people are expected to visit the 7th Zhuhai airshow (officially known as Airshow China 2008) in November, organizers have estimated.

Wang Qiusheng, deputy general manager of the show, attributed the high expectation to two main factors.

First, China's three astronauts who recently completed the country's first space walk are very likely to attend the show along with their re-entry module.

Secondly, 60 exhibitors from 35 countries including aerial aviators from China, Russia and India are due to take part in the event, Wang said.

The airshow will be held in Zhuhai during November 4-9.
