Gang of airborne thieves arrested on touch down

Three airborne thieves were detained at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport after stealing a total of 120,000 Hong Kong dollars ($15,400) during a flight from Taiyuan to, Guangzhou.
Yi, 30, Shi, 29, and Xia, 37 were brought to the airport police sub-station for further questioning and had to admit their crimes.
Fielding the report while the plane was still in the air, police identified the suspects before the plane landed.
The gang from Henan province were later investigated and found to be habitual offenders who had committed theft many times in trains, buses and planes in the previous years.
