Su Langen: Through the great challenge of the Olympics, we have gained two experiences: the perfect organization and the powerful coordination.
The ATM system and all the units can carefully implement the perplans and actively coordinate with each other during the Olympic Games, which has laid a solid foundation for the development of ATM system in China.
en.AvBuyer.com.cn: It is the first year for ATM system to realize the integration. What's the kind of advantages of this integration in earthquake rescue and Olympic security work?
Su Langen: The successful completion of the Olympic security work shows the advantage of the integrated operation of ATM system. During the Olympics, the ATM system has formed the smooth connection and linkage among all the units by united command.
After the earthquake on May 12, AMT Bureau, CAAC immediately held the video and telephone conference, and announced to start the emergency procedure to fully support Southwest ATM Bureau. According to the arrangement, the ATM system completed the support for the quake-hit regions in control operation and facilities support.
en.AvBuyer.com.cn: How is about the integration of ATM system? And is there anything needed to be improved?
Su Langen: There are three contents of the ATM integration: first is to separate the management and public affairs, and establish the ATM managerial system; second is to establish the unified civil aviation ATM operation system; and the third is to integrate the resource of the whole ATM system. The first two tasks have been completed in the end of last year. However, the third task is a long-term work, which still needs our hardworking.
