en.AvBuyer.com.cn: It is our honor to have you again at our guest room. We wonder to know your prediction of the aim of Embraer in China.
Guan Dongyuan: It's our great honor to deliver a new aircraft type – 100-seat E190 aircraft to China. China has already become the 2nd largest market in the world for Embraer, just behind U.S.. Embraer makes a predication about the Chinese aviation market. In 20 years, China will need 875 aircrafts with less than 120 seats. One of the features of Embraer is to focus on the regional aircraft.
en.AvBuyer.com.cn: Since 2003, Embraer starts the cooperation with AVIC II to produce ERJ-145 aircrafts. What has Embraer gained from this localism strategyy?
Guan Dongyuan: Firstly, we want to show that the development of Embraer in China is long-term. And secondly, the relationship between Embraer and Chinese aviation industry is a win-win, trust and mutual benefit partnership. The most important is that we can understand Chinese market better after we rooting in China.
en.AvBuyer.com.cn: Could you give us a general introduction of the features or advantages of E190 aircraft?
Guan Dongyuan: The E-190 aircraft is the most advanced aircraft in the world among the similar products. The fly-by-wire system can guarantee the aircraft performance, and reduce the aircraft weight, which can save the energy and reducing carbon emissions.
