Truss lifting of Ameco Beijing's new Boeing 747 hangar

Ameco Beijing is constructing a new hangar presently that will house up to Boeing 747 sized aircraft for heavy maintenance including painting without moving the aircraft. This hangar is scheduled for completion in mid of 2009.

Recently the 26-meter-height truss lifting finished that indicates the end of main structure work. The area of room truss is about ten thousand square meters with the weight of one thousand tons.

Now, There's a fully enclosed and temperature controlled painting hangar covers an area of 10,000 square meters in Ameco Beijing, which meets the requirements of stripping, washing and painting of any type of aircraft up to the size of Boeing 747-400.
