Chengdu Shuangliu Airport commences second runway project

Chengdu Shuangliu international airport confirmed its second runway will start construction work next month. The 3600 x 60 m runway is located in the east side of the airport and associated taxiway will be constructed at the same period. It is planned to commence by the end of 2009.
