Beijing Capital Airport theft cracked
Published: Nov 28, 2008
Police at Beijing Capital International Airport have been kept busy dealing baggage theft in November. And they warn that as the spring festival approaches, the theft of personal belongings will grow.

The police seized stolen goods valued at about 100,000 yuan during raids on suspects' homes. The thieves targeted portable items in people's bags, taking them during check-in procedures, boarding, and even during flights.

The Beijing police advise travellers to keep an eye on their personal belongings throughout their journey.
