The Trent Family
Trent 700 was designed specifically for the A330. Consequently, it is the perfect match for the aircraft, providing the best performance over the widest range of operational and environmental conditions.
Trent 800 provides between 75,000lb and 95,000lb take-off thrust to power the Boeing 777-200, 777-200ER and 777-300.
Trent 500 was chosen by Airbus in 1997 to be the sole powerplant for their latest generation of A340 aircraft. The engine was cleared at 60,000lb thrust giving margin to deliver the service requirements of 53,000lb and 56,000lb.
Trent 900 will feature the same successful three-shaft architecture as its Trent predecessors and its detailed design will reflect 20 million hours of Trent engine service experience.
Trent 1700 will extend the market success of the Trent family of engines. The Trent 1700 will utilise the design features and experience of its predecessors and tailor them to the specific needs of Airbus’s new A350 aircraft.
